According
to the International Coach Federation, coaching is an ongoing
professional relationship that helps people produce extraordinary
results in their lives, careers, businesses or organizations.
Through the process of coaching, clients deepen their learning,
improve their performance, and enhance their quality of life.
In each meeting, the client chooses the focus of conversation,
while the coach listens and contributes observations and questions.
This interaction creates clarity and moves the client into action.
Coaching accelerates the client's progress by providing greater
focus and awareness of choice. Coaching concentrates on where
clients are now and what they are willing to do to get where they
want to be in the future, recognizing that results are a matter
of the client's intentions, choices and actions, supported by
the coach's efforts and application of the coaching process.
What does Beth add to this?
Skilled inquiry is one of her greatest assets as a coach - Inquiry
that is totally client-centered. She believes that only YOU have
your own right answers and that no other person can tell you what
is right for you. Both intuition and professional training in
several different programs emphasizing the power of questions
has honed her ability to ask artful, transformative and provocative
questions.
Beth brings nature into the coaching paradigm as a facilitation
tool. She believes that we are all essentially connected with
and an integral part of nature and yet often unconscious of this
connection. Being present in life is the only way to be able to
respond thoughtfully to what life is presenting. Sensing nature
allows us to get out of our own way and be fully present. Observing
nature in a more intentional way allows us to see the enormous
gift that is before us every day - filled with life lessons and
abundant with wisdom. Beth does not impose nature on her clients,
but rather invites them to step more completely into their unique
connection with nature. Walking or river workshops are additional
options in this coaching relationship.
Most important - The client, YOU, are always seen as special.
Beth listens to your dreams, wishes, and goals. She holds a safe
space for her clients and assists them in doing the necessary
processing to bring about extraordinary results. Although results
are important, she reminds people, that the joy must be in the
journey, as
LIFE is the ultimate JOURNEY!
